Medford Crash: Woman, Dog Dead, 2 Injured
A young male is in custody after striking three people and a dog, police said.

MEDFORD, MA — One person is dead and two more injured after a juvenile driver struck three pedestrians on Spring Street late Sunday afternoon, authorities said. A dog that was with two of the victims was also killed.
The driver, a young male, was arrested, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Medford Police Chief Leo Sacco Jr.
The driver was traveling on Spring Street near Emerald Street when he fatally struck a woman around 4:50 pm., authorities said. He continued down Spring Street and hit two more people, a male and female with their dog, near Yeoman's Avenue before crashing into the Citizen's Bank. Those two victims were taken to the hospital in reportedly serious condition.

Police are not releasing the identities of the victims at this time.
