Woman Sexually Assaulted in Brookline
Police are asking the public's help in finding a man who attacked a woman on Beacon Street Wednesday night.

Police said a man creeped up behind a woman in the area of 1782 Beacon St. at about 8 p.m. and indecently touched her. The woman screamed, scaring the man off, police said.
He took off toward Warwick Road. He is described as 5 feet, 6 inches and 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, and a black backpack. Anyone with information is asked to call Brookline police at 617-730-2222.

The woman refused medical attention at the scene. Police said the woman ate dinner at the Cityside Bar in Brighton and was walking home when the attack happened.
