Burlington Election 2020: How To Request A Mail-In Ballot
Due to the virus, the state is allowing any registered voter to request a mail-in ballot for elections being held on or before June 30
BURLINGTON, MA —With municipal elections across Massachusetts already delayed to help slow the spread of the new coronavirus, the Secretary of State's office said Wednesday any registered voter in Massachusetts can request a mail-in ballot for elections being held on or before June 30.
In March, the Burlington Board of Selectmen voted to delay the annual election to June 6 from April 4 under authority granted by the state in an effort to slow the spread of the new coronavirus. Town meeting was also pushed back to June 10.
If you'd like to vote by mail, fill out the mail-in ballot application available on the Secretary of State's website and send the completed form to the 29 Center St, Burlington, MA 01803, drop it off in the mailbox on Town Hall steps or email it to clerk@burlington.org. Emailed applications must have a hand-written signature. You can also send a hand-written request if you don't have a printer available.
