Burlington High School New Team "Ladies Of Code" Compete in Boston

New technology team at Burlington High School competes in Boston!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Saturday May 13th, 2017 Burlington High School’s "Ladies of Code" Team competed at the Massachusetts Technovation Challenge at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. BHS Computer Science teacher Meg Bednarcik initiated the Club this year Pictured above ( Left to right) are Meg Bednarcik (advisor), Ananya Gurjar, Jessie Goober, Nimisha Thakkar and Halleluia Zeyohannes. Technovation is an all-girl STEM challenge where teams of up to 5 girls design an app, build a business plan, pitch and develop the app. The girls developed an app which they named poLIT, intended to educate high school students on political happenings throughout the U.S.
