Corsino writes song for International Summit
Burlington's Corsino writes song for Take Back The Night Foundation International Summit held @ Fordham University NYC
Burlington's Gabrielle Corsino, a senior at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick MA, was asked by founder and director Katie Koestner, Take Back The Night Foundation; to compose an anthem song for the first ever International Summit Against Sexual Violence. The International Summit Against Sexual Violence was held at Fordham University in NYC this summer 2016. Diplomats and organizations from across the globe attended the summit. Corsino was asked to perform the anthem song she composed, "You've Got A Song" at the Summits sold out performance event, "Get Noisy". The track will be featured on the Take Back The Nights first featured album, the album is being produced to raise funds to support the Take Back The Night Foundations global awareness campaign. Corsino has performed to sold out audiences at the Hard Rock Cafe, Middle East, Common Ground, BBKing NYC. Corsino has several singles on iTunes and Sound Cloud, you can subscribe to her YouTube Channel to hear current releases. Corsino is currently writing a new single with Burlington's own singer-songwriter Eric Leva which will be featured on the new EP to be released 2017! Corsino would like to ask Burlington residents to help support the Take Back The Night Foundation by sending contributions to help support their global campaign to help raise awareness about sexual violence, particularly prevalent on college campuses today in the United States.
