Fashion goes to Beacon Hill on May 31 Showcasing The Arts in Massachusetts

Beacon Hill goes to Burlington High School as Rep. Ken Gordon pays a visit to art class for final plans of "Fashion on the Hill"

The Fashion Design class at Burlington High School was honored to have a visit by Massachusetts State Representative Kenneth Gordon (Burlington, Bedford, Wilmington) on Monday in preparation for their big event, Fashion on the Hill, which will be held on Tuesday, May 31, at 11:00 am.

The students have been invited to Beacon Hill to present a runway fashion show in the Great Hall, an unprecedented event since its completion in 1798, showcasing arts education in the Commonwealth. Several pieces of art will also be exhibited simultaneously by advanced art students from Burlington High School.

Fashion on the Hill is free and open to the public. A reception will follow. RSVP: StateHouseFashion@gmail.com.
