New Music Program for Children!
The Burlington Educational Summer Theatre Presents Burlington Music Play for babies, toddler and children up through kindergarten.
The Burlington Educational Summer Theatre is pleased to present an exciting new music program for children aged 3 month to six years. Burlington Music Play is an eight week early childhood music class held at the Marshall Simonds Middle School in Burlington, Ma.
Classes will immerse your child in a musical environment that:
> Supports and nurtures musical understanding,

> Allows for pivotal early musical experiences.

Classes are a fun and interactive experience, and include:
>Singing and chanting
> Movement
> Musical play, and
> Pattern instruction
Children will attend these classes with a parent or caregiver who participates alongside the child.
DATES: Tuesday, November 1 - Tuesday, December 20 (8 Weeks)
LOCATION: Marshall Simonds Middle School Library
COST: $120 per child for 8 weeks
INSTRUCTOR: Mr. Andrew Mullen, with assistance from BHS music student

About Andrew Mullen, professional music educator has a wealth of experience and training. In addition to being a teacher, folk musician, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, Square Dance caller, and lifelong learner, he is honored to serve as Burlington Public Schools Music Curriculum Coach. At Marshall Simonds Middle School, he directs Choral Union, Select Chorus, House Band, and teaches general music. At Burlington High School, he is the Music Director for the annual Spring Musicals. Mr. Mullen is thrilled to launch Burlington Music Play, an early childhood music class. He has taught all levels of students in a number of subjects, and holds masters degrees in both Music Education and School Administration, as well as certifications from the Gordon Institute of Music Learning (GIML) in Elementary General and Early Childhood Music.
