Shrek Jr says "Let Your Freak Flag Fly" next week

As the days fly by, the students in the Burlington Educational Summer Theatre production of Shrek Jr, the Musical have had a ton of fun preparing for the junior version of the movie and Broadway hit of the same name.

Leading the cast is Michael “Mikey” Fazio as Shrek, Jade Kim as Princess Fiona, Luis Villalta as Donkey and Henry Wright as Lord Farquaad.

Also featured are Molly Haggerty as Teen Fiona/Mama Ogre and Julia Lane as Young Fiona/Papa Ogre.

Fairytale creatures are played by Julia Boldezar, Natalie Carey, Henry Estes, Ella Grzelak, Erica Czerwinski, Ellie Dewar, Sean Donovan, Emily Gillis, Molly Haggerty, Jack Haroutunian, Nicholas Heisler, Olivia Janasik, Emma Naddaff, Cameron Noonan, Maeve O’Callaghan, Caroline O’Callaghan, Owen Reimold, Valerie Reynolds, Jensine Wagner.

Woodland creatures are played by Summer Arsenault, Allison Boyle, Ava Brehm, Alexandra Davidson, Julia DeVito, Natalie DeVito, Kirsten Dew, Georgia Doherty, Samantha Goneau, Nicole Hatch, Leah Marshall, Celia McCarthy, Grace Melo, Molly Moroney, Cassidy Myer, Emerson Waisnor and Ella Woods.

Guards and knights are played by Gracie Campagna, Paul Conti, Sara Gluck, Caitlyn Mahoney, Rozzie Moe, Max O’Brien, Ella Tedesco, Julia Valanzola, Isabella Vigliotta. Storytellers are Lauren Aucoin, Kylie Cadet, Katie Clifford, Carly Frost, Isabella Gill, Gabrielle Mallard, Alexa Meehan, Erin O’Neil, Julie Surabian, Katie Surabian and Grace Visco.

A great summertime activity for the entire family, Shrek, Jr. will be performed on Friday, July 22, at 7 pm and Saturday, July 23, at 2 pm. Tickets range between $10 and $15 and can be purchased online at www.BurlingtonTheatre.com, by phone at 781-A-FUN-TIC and at the door.
