Teddy Bear Check-Up Day at the Zoo!

Bring
your favorite teddy bear for a day of cuddly fun on June 14! Stone Zoo staff
will be on hand to give your bear a check-up and clean bill of health. Later,
march through the Zoo in the Teddy Bear Parade and say hello to Smoky and
Bubba, Stone Zoo’s resident black bears!

Guests will also enjoy
music by Matt Heaton of the well-known Irish music duo Matt & Shannon
Heaton, and storytime by Mama and Papa Bear of the Berenstain Bears children's
books!

There also will be
zookeeper encounters at the black bear exhibit throughout the day. This is the
perfect time to learn more about the bears and ask questions.
