Today: Bruce Springsteen Comes to Cambridge for Book Signing
Less music, more literature.
CAMBRIDGE, MA — Bruce Springsteen will be back in Massachusetts this October, but for a very different kind of appearance.
The Harvard Coop welcomes the Boss on Oct. 10 for a book-signing, part of the musician's tour for his new autobiography, Born To Run.
Tickets went on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday, and as of 10:30 a.m. the Coop's site says they're already sold out.

For those who managed to nab a ticket, doors will open at 9 a.m. on October 10. Ticket-holders get a wristband and can pay for a pre-signed book, which must be bought the day-of at Harvard Coop.
The book store stresses that this event is meet-and-greet only: no book discussion, personalized signing, or performance. Ticket-holders get one posed photo with Springsteen who, the Coop notes, "will not sign anything during the event... so no memorabilia or other items are allowed."

Tickets are not transferable, Harvard Coop adds. The name on your ticket must match ID.

Springsteen and his E Street Band were at Gillette Stadium last month for the final stop on his River Tour. The show was the Boss' first appearance at the stadium since 2012.
