GCP Applied Technologies Donates $5,000 to Cambridge Youth Soccer

Providing Over 100 Local Children with Scholarships

GCP Applied Technologies Inc. (NYSE:GCP) donated $5,000 to Cambridge Youth Soccer (CYS), providing scholarships to over 100 low-income families. The corporate sponsorship will also help CYS supply children with soccer equipment and support general field maintenance.

“We’re proud to support this great local organization committed to youth and the community,” said Paul Hanlon, Vice President of Project Management and Integration at GCP. “And we’re happy to assist Cambridge families with program fees to ensure their children have the opportunity to participate.”

GCP’s construction products and technologies are used to protect many renowned structures worldwide. Over 300 employees work at the Cambridge headquarters.

“GCP’s sponsorship enabled CYS to grow to over 1,200 kids, and specifically, provided scholarships to an additional 140 low income Cambridge families – this is the most in CYS history,” said Susan Ruff, Executive Director for Cambridge Youth Soccer. “GCP’s continued support will help ensure that CYS is available and affordable to any child that wants to play the beautiful game of soccer.”

The company has been the official corporate sponsor of the organization for the last two years. CYS officially kicked off its 2018 season last month.
