• Harvard Reaches $53M Settlement In Body Parts Scandal As Buyer Is Sentenced (patch.com) — Cambridge residents are learning that Harvard University has agreed to a proposed $53 million class-action settlement over human remains stolen from its medical school morgue, years after the scandal first surfaced. The deal follows multiple federal convictions, including a two-year prison sentence for a Massachusetts buyer who trafficked the stolen remains, and comes alongside new oversight and security changes to Harvard's Anatomical Gift Program.
