Canton man arraigned on assault and battery charge
Mark J. Good, 55, of 55 Kenney St., Canton pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Stoughton District Court to a charge of assault and battery. The case was continued to May 8. Judge Richard Savignano released Good on personal recognizance. The charge stems from a March 18 incident during a domestic disturbance at 55 Kenney St. Good claimed his ex-wife was "in his face" so he grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her down. Both parties admitted to have been drinking, police said in the incident report.
Revere man charged with receiving stolen vehicle
Just A. Henlon, 22, of 55 Harnell Ave. Apt. 1, Revere pleased not guilty at his arraignment in Stoughton District Court to charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle, driving without a license, and driving without registration. The case was continued to May 15. Henlon is free on personal recognizance. The charges stem from a March 17, 2012 incident in Canton at 9:45 p.m. when state police on Route 95 observed a black Ford Taurus and ran a license check through the computer. The vehicle had been reported stolen, police said in the incident report.
Canton man face OUI charge
Robert B. Foley, 28, of 10 Copley Place, Canton pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Stoughton District Court to charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. The case was continued to April 30. Foley is free on personal recognizance. The charges stem from a March 18 incident in Canton at 1:15 a.m. when police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Washington Street at Church Street. The vehicle had collided with a utility police, sustaining heavy front end damage. Foley refused field sobriety tests and was arrested.
Foxboro man charged with drugged driving
Harry F. Payne IV, 28, of 6 Joseph Road, Foxboro, pleaded not guilty in Stoughton District Court to charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving under the influence of drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. The case was continued to May 8. Payne is free on personal recognizance. The charges stem from a March 18 incident in Canton at 12:14 p.m. when state police responded to a report of a red pickup truck with heavy front end damage being driving in an "extremely erratic" manner on Route 95 in North Mansfield. Police stopped the vehicle on Chapman Street in Canton.
