Canton Residents Gathering on Sunday to Support CPA

The Sunday meeting is being held to promote interest in adopting the CPA.

The (CPA) was passed by a wide margin at our last Annual Town Meeting. However, a final step is required to make Canton one of 148 CPA communities in Massachusetts. CPA must win voter approval next April.

The state has given over $360 million in CPA funds since 2002, yet Canton has not received a penny. New funding sources are needed more than ever in these tough economic times.
