Canton's Representative Galvin Hosts Russian Exchange Student

Representative (D-Canton) hosted a Russian student for a month as part of the U.S. State Department’s Legislative Fellows Program. The student, Yevgeny Guriary, took part in the program as a Ph.D. candidate in Politics. He grew up in the city of Yekaterinburg, which is located in Russia’s Ural Federal District. 

The Legislative Fellows Program offers students of government and politics the opportunity to learn about the U.S. government and democracy. Participating students are from Russia, Ukraine and Georgia, and are hosted in various capitol cities across the United States.
