Canton
Roxbury man in court for assault and battery
Dawayne Allison, 20, of 198 Blue Hills Ave., Apt. 2, Roxbury had a charge of
assault and battery continued to Nov. 29 for a pretrial hearing. The charge stems from a Nov. 5, 2010 incident in Canton. Allison is accused of punching a man in the face who began to argue with Allison and three other youths who cut through his property. Allison allegedly struck the man on the left side of his face with a closed fist.
In a separate case, Allison had charges of larceny over $250 and receiving stolen property over $250 continued to Nov. 29 for a pretrial hearing. The
charges stem from a Aug. 13 incident in Canton in which a woman claims Allison stole her daughter's Playstation 3.
Trial set in OUI case of Canton man
Eric Breyan, 18, of 140 Waterman Road,Canton had charges of drunken driving, speeding, negligent driving, and a marked lanes violation continued to Dec. 28 for a first appearance at trial. The charges stem from a March 12 incident in Canton. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on York Street. Breyan is accused of fleeing after the single-car accident and leaving behind a juvenile female passenger who required medical treatment at the accident scene by Canton paramedics. Police later found Breyan hiding in nearby woods and arrested him.
