The town of Arlington will vote today to ban gas-powered leaf blowers at a Special Election, and other communities have also explored the idea, but would it ever happen on Cape?

Arlington will be having a special election today to vote on the seasonal banning of gas-powered leaf blowers during the summer months.
The debate has been heated at time and the discussion has spread across Massachusetts.
On one side are those who say leaf blowers are a health risk, which are too noisy and damage a community's quality of life. The other side says banning leaf blowers goes too far and will cripple landscaping businesses.

Swampscott is also eyeing a that may go before Town Meeting next year. , but it was narrowly rejected.
