Case continued for Canton woman facing obscenity charges
Denatia Dunn, 17, of 28 Church St., Canton had charges of open and gross lewdness, possession of a Class E drug, and disturbing the peace continued to Aug. 7 for a pretrial hearing in Stoughton District Court.
The charges stem from a April 4 incident in Canton at 4:30 p.m. when police responded to the area of Forge Pond for a report of youths drinking and causing a disturbance.
Foxboro man faces unlawful weapon possession charge
Derek J. Beatty, 31, of 56 Willow St., Foxboro had charges of driving with a suspended license and possession of a firearm without an FID card continued to Aug. 22 in Stoughton District Court.
The charges stem from a J an. 4 incident in Canton at 11:30 a.m. when police stopped Beatty's vehicle on Wayside Lane. Police said Beatty had a loaded 20-gauge shotgun in a vinyl case in the vehicle but did not have a permit to possess it.
Canton man has Class E drug possession charge continued
Daniel S. McLaughlin, 34, of 504 Sherman St., Apt. 2, Canton had a charge of possession of a Class E drug continued to Aug. 7 for a pretrial hearing in Stoughton District Court.
The charge stems from a April 30 incident in Canton. Police said they responded to a report of an unwanted person at 504 Sherman St. During a pat-frisk, police found McLaughlin had six Lexapro anti-depressant tablets in his possession. The pills belonged to another person, police said.
