Do You Support a Casino Being Built in Everett?

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission awarding Wynn Resorts a Greater Boston region (Region A) casino license for Everett may be good news for that city that will now reap in the financial benefits.

But what about the communities abutting Everett like Charlestown?

The $1.6 billion resort-style, five-star casino will have 500 rooms. Most of the traffic will come through Sullivan Square, but the greater area should see more traffic once the casino is open.

Some of the nearby communities will benefit financially with annual payments to help offset the impact that a casino may have on traffic and quality of life.
