Police Log: Local Mom Assaulted While Holding Child
Notable entries from the District A-15 police log, from May 1-6.

At about 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, an officer assigned to the Charlestown station was approached by a female who stated she had been assaulted while walking home with her two children on Bunker Hill Street.
The victim told the officer she knew the suspect from a young age, but the two were no longer friends.
According to police reports, the victim encountered the suspect while walking with her two sons, and, as she walked by, she heard the suspect allegedly utter the phrase “her kids are bastards” to a friend. At that point, the victim turned around and asked if the suspect said something, which caused the suspect to stand up from the bus stop bench and begin yelling and screaming in the victim’s face—while she was holding her three-month-old child.
