Charlestown Shooting Injuries Not Life-Threatening

50 Tufts Street shooting sends one to the hospital.

Boston police and EMS responded to a reported shooting at 50 Tufts Street in Charlestown shortly before midnight Tuesday, according to police and scanner reports.

According to scanner reports, the man was shot twice in the torso—once in the chest and once in the shoulder, according to some reports.

Boston Police would not confirm that the man suffered two gunshot wounds, but said that his injuries were not life-threatening. The man was reportedly conscious when taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Boston Police did not name a suspect this morning, and did not report any arrests from the scene of the crime.
