Thieves Strike Sullivan Square Luxury Building

Residents of the Mezzo Design Lofts in Sullivan Square were victimized late last month by a group of thieves who followed them in—and one of those thieves calls himself a Townie.

The company that manages the lofts sent an email to residents this week, with a description of the events along with photos of the thieves.

In one of the photos (posted on UniversalHub.com), a large white male with short, white hair wears a white tank top bearing the word “Townie” over a green, white and orange shield.

In a message to Universal Hub, a resident from the building said that the thieves stole most of the packages out of the mailroom as well as the flat screen TV from the building’s gym.

“For me it's a concern,” the resident wrote, “as over Christmas, there was another incident. In both cases, residents had strangers follow them into the otherwise secured building and didn't think twice about it.”
