Man Arrested On OUI, Negligent Operation and Driving on a Suspended License
Here's the latest from the Chelmsford Police Department log.

Saturday, Sept. 5
At 12:53 a.m., police checked on suspicious activity inside a motor vehicle.
At 4:04 a.m., officers found a vehicle in the middle of Boston Road. Zachariah Holmes 26, of Billerica, was subsequently arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle to endanger and operating after a license suspension.

At 10:36 a.m., a neighbor reported loud children on Brick Kiln Road.

At 2:17 p.m., motor vehicle vandalism was reported.
At 3:10 p.m., a man using a wheelchair was struck by vehicle. James P. Conlon 72, of Boston, died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. See “Police Identify Pedestrian Killed in Saturday Crash.”
