School Employee Indicted on Child Assault Case Pleads Not Guilty

Christopher Holt, the Chelmsford Public Schools’ employee who was indicted by a Middlesex County Grand Jury earlier this month on charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14, pleaded not guilty in court this week and will undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Christopher Holt, 60, of Lowell was arraigned on Tuesday where he pleaded not guilty to inappropriately touching an 8-year-old boy in a Chelmsford after school program, according to the Lowell Sun.

Holt, a special education teacher’s aide in the Chelmsford Public Schools was held on $10,000 cash bail.
