2016 Presidential Primary: How Did the Candidates Do in Middlesex County?
How did Concord's results compare to the rest of the county?

CONCORD, MA—Businessman Donald Trump and Secretary Hillary Clinton took the overall prize in the Commonwealth, but how did they do on a more local level?
According to data aggregated by the New York Times, Trump won every county in Massachusetts with at least 40 percent of the Republican vote. However, Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders seemed to split the counties down the middle, with Clinton winning the more populous regions of the state.

While Trump largely dominated in Middlesex, he did not win Concord. Ohio Gov. John Kasich took the town, commanding approximately 38 percent of votes. Trump controlled 46.7 percent of the county vote, but approximately 25 percent of Concord.
In Middlesex County, Trump is trailed by Kasich (20.5 percent), Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (19.3 percent) and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (8.7 percent). Clinton leads Sanders, who carries 47 percent of the county vote.
