Patty Smith will be the speaker representing the Adams National Historical Park at the United Woman’s Club of Concord meeting noon March 17 at the West Concord Union Church.

Smith has worked with the Adams family objects for 15 years and will share portraits, objects, furniture and stories about five generations of this New England family.

Specifically Patty is closely involved in the care of personal artifacts on exhibit in three homes that belonged to five generations of the Adams Family, including two presidents and their wives. The collection spans three centuries and includes portraits, prints, furniture, American, Asian and European decorative arts, books and archeology. All the objects are original to the family and reflect the numerous diplomatic missions and the times in which they lived.
