Concord Park Senior Living Releases Free 'Paying for Assisted Living' eBook

Concord Park Senior Living, has published a free educational guide on the cost of Assisted Living and how most families pay for it.

CONCORD (March 1, 2016) - Any family who has been through the process of researching and moving a loved one in to an assisted living community can attest that trying to compare communities on cost alone is no simple feat. Communities and companies within the industry can offer differing services and have several types of pricing structures, making it quite difficult to compare apples to apples. In an effort to arm consumers with all the information they may need to understand the language and intricacies of the assisted living industry and to help families make the most informed decisions, Senior Living Residences, management company for Concord Park Senior Living, has published an educational guide, Paying for Assisted Living, that is available as a free download from the community’s website.

“Families come to us all the time looking for this type of information, so we are very pleased to now have a comprehensive tool to offer them,” said Jamie McWilliam, Executive Director at Concord Park. “The book covers how the assisted living industry works as well as how most families fund the monthly rent. We also offer an extensive glossary of terms that covers industry lingo and common financial aide programs. I believe families, especially those who are just beginning their research on senior housing options, will find this to be very useful.”

The 24-page e-book was created by Senior Living Residences as part of their larger commitment to public education. “We consider it a responsibility to educate our residents and their families, and the general public, on issues related to aging and wellness for seniors and their caregivers,” said Lee Larkin, Corporate Director of Communications for Senior Living Residences. “It is an integral part of who we are as a company. Our customers, who want straight forward, transparent information to help them make important decisions, truly appreciate our commitment to education.”
