Here's a look at some of the topics that got readers talking on Concord Patch this week.

  • William Williams let us know that the originally scheduled for today was moved to earlier in the week, saying, "this game was rescheduled and was already played this past Thursday, December 29th. The CCHS Girls defeated Stoneham 3-1."

  • On Wednesday, Maureen C. Belt told us about the , which helps support Minuteman Arc's early intervention program. The fun is named in honor of the much loved Carol Robichaud who passed away a few years ago. Janet Beyer recalled Carol, saying, "Carol was a fabulous person and this is a perfect tribute."
  • This Friday's featured musings on the great feasts of the holiday season. Judy Palm said, "Before settling in for my long winter's nap I want to agree [with] the author's thoughts about her feelings for Christmas. We also do our celebrating Christmas eve and food is the center of the evening. Well, for the grandchildren it's Santa's arrival but the rest of us enjoy the libations. It was originally a Swedish smorgasbord which has evolved into an eclectic gathering of Swedish meatballs, lasagna and many fish (some with eyes, some without). All delicious. And cookies, so many that on St. Patrick's day we'll still be eating Christmas cookies. I love it all."
