Concord Select Board Calls Special Town Election
Three ballot questions will be considered, all of which ask voters to consider a Proposition 2 1/2 debt exclusion.

CONCORD, MA—Concord's Select Board has called a Special Town Election to consider three ballot questions, all of which ask voters to consider a proposition 2 1/2 debt exclusion.
The questions relate to the the Concord-Carlisle Regional School District landfill site remediation, the supplemental appropriation of the School Transportation Facility and the Minuteman Regional High School building project approval. The election is set for April 14, and the deadline to register for the special election is March 25.
Question one, the question of the landfill site remediation, will determine whether the town will approve a $1.1 million, or any other sum of debt authorized by the School Committee for landfill remediation.

The second ballot question will determine whether $1.95 million, or any other sum will be designated to the construction of a transportation facility. The third question will determine whether the town will approve the $144.9 million borrowing authorized by the Minuteman school district for the purpose of paying for a new district school in Lexington.
