Bonjour, Paris! Workshop for Recorder Players and Singers

Recorders/Early Music Metrowest's "Second Saturday" series continues on Saturday, April 9 with the theme "Bonjour, Paris!" exploring chansons, motets, masses and instrumental works from Renaissance France.

Our consort coaches -- Justin Godoy, Eric Haas and Sheila Beardslee  -- lead recorder ensembles at three levels in two sessions (a fourth coach will be added if consort registration is high).  Sarah Mead, director of the Brandeis University Early Music Ensemble, leads a choral morning focused on the new national style arising in 16th-century France as a result of the Reformation, inspired by the melodies in the Huguenot Psalter.

Please RSVP to sheilabb@earthlink.net by Wednesday evening, April 6 if you plan to attend. Don't forget your music stand and a pencil!

Registration fee
Choral morning:  $18/$12 for R/EMM Members, Choral Affiliates FREE   PDF files will be sent Thursday morning
Consorts  $15 consort visitors, R/EMM Members FREE
