Jean Hill, First Parish member, began her crusade against bottled water three years ago after her grandson told her about the Pacific Garbage Patch, a vast area of floating plastic debris in the ocean that is harming fish and birds and other ocean life. After two successful trips to Town Meeting in 2009 and 2010, Jean is returning in 2011 with a proposed bylaw that focuses on drinking water in singleserving plastic bottles. Join Jean to learn more about this important issue and what we can all do to make a difference this year in Concord.
