Join Kathleen Laferriere for an informative presentation on what heart disease is and how it we get it. Topics will include heart attacks, angina and heart failure. Laferriere will also talk about who is at risk for heart disease, and briefly discuss high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. Prevention and treatment of heart attacks will also be included in this lecture.
Kathy Laferriere has a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Rivier College and has been working as a nurse since 1982 at Lowell General Hospital. For the last 11 years, she has specialized in Cardiac medicine, working in the Heart & Vascular Center as well as The Center for Community Health & Wellness.
