Minute Man National Park Winter Lecture Series: Battling the Beetles, Saving the Trees
Stacy Kilb, of the Mass. Dept. of Agricultural Resources will lead a discussion on preventing the spread of the invasive Asian Longhorned Beetle in Massachusetts. With close to 30,000 trees already removed in Worcester, and a satellite infestation discovered in Boston this past summer, our state’s hardwood forests are at risk from this pest.
