On Tuesday, February 8, 2011, Sunlight Solar Energy will host an informational seminar on solar energy and the various incentives that reduce solar installation costs for Massachusetts homeowners. The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Maynard Public Library, located at 77 Nason Street in Maynard, MA.
The presentation will provide an overview of solar technology and will explain how Massachusetts residents can reduce their energy consumption and costs while spinning their electric meter backwards. Sunlight Solar representatives Christopher Robinson and Amy Levine will discuss how the most recent rebates in Massachusetts can reduce installation costs by up to 50% when combined with State and Federal tax credits. Homeowners can expect to learn what makes a home good for solar, the average return on investment, and financing options. A question-and-answer session will follow.
Homeowners are encouraged to bring their electric bills to receive an on-the-spot usage evaluation. Come meet like-minded neighbors who already produce their own solar electricity and solar hot water, and enjoy the rare opportunity to ask an expert as many questions as you like.
This free event is open to the public; food and drink will be provided. Pre-registration is recommended, as space is limited. For registration and information, please call (617) 332-1870 or send an email to Amy.Levine@sunlightsolar.com.
