Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord invites you to its Sunday morning Adult Forum, Trinity's adult education program, which meets weekly at 9 AM to hear speakers connect us to these topics: word, worship, wonder, world, and witness, five important aspects of our Christian life.
On Sunday, April 22 at 9 AM we focus on "witness" with Trinity parishioner and US Navy veteran Gresh Lattimore. Gresh joined Trinity a year ago and has been active with Education for Ministry and and the Lay Eucharistic Ministers programs. Gresh became an Episcopalian as a student at Sewanee and volunteered for service in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Since his retirement from banking in 2005, Gresh has studied spiritual direction and trained for three years as a chaplain at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Brighton. He regularly volunteers at Bedford’s Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital as a facilitator of a PTSD recovery group, a member of the Hospice Team, and a member of the Outreach Committee. He has also volunteered with families of a deployed National Guard unit. With gratitude for a life of many blessings, he has reached out to fellow veterans as his ministry and mission in life.
Trinity's invited Forum speakers come from many walks of life and have addressed all manner of topics. Among our recent topics are pilgrimage, faith lost and found, histories and Biblical persons, death, dying and grieving, parenting, stewardship, education, and much more.
Childcare begins in Trinity's nursery at 9 AM; Trinity's buildings are fully accessible. For further information on this or other programs at Trinity, please call our Parish Office, 978/369-3715, or visit us on-line at http://www.trinityconcord.org.
