FAIR

It takes a community to educate future leaders. Support our scholarship fundraiser for college bound seniors.

On
Saturday, December 3rd, the United Woman's Club of Concord will hold their
Annual Fair from 9:30 am to 2 pm at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center, 1276
Main St, Concord, MA 01742.

For over 20 years, (look at the photos) the fair has featured:

*Attic treasures has an eclectic collection that includes a vintage SNOW SCOOP from the now defunct Concord Woodworking Company and a retired Bacarat Chrystal Dove. Other vintage, funky and art deco items include scarfs,Vera Bradley handbags, rugs, holiday novelties, souvenirs from around the world, bar ware, crystal and high quality glassware, children's toys and games, holiday decorations,
creative high end gift baskets and much more.

*Three 9 ft tables lovely quits for cribs and beds; decorative quilted wall hangings, hand-quilted & American Doll sewn doll clothes, also hostess gifts aprons, pot holders, casserole carriers, holiday tags, ornaments
and much more. This year we will also have one American Doll for sale.

*The Sweets and Treats three 9 ft tables features many cakes, cookies, relishes, fudge, candies, home-baked breads. If you miss the goodies your grandmothers and great-grandmothers used to make then you can't forget to stop and check out these tables.

We are also proud of the variety of food in the Cafe: breakfast, lunch and other refreshment including vegetarian and gluten free.

We are your neighbors! We hope you will find it interesting to know that the current members are in their late 70s, 80s and 90s. Our philanthropic Club was formed at the turn of the century. Our members raise
funds for the future leaders who are graduating from the Concord-Carlisle High School.

Please save the date for our next fund raising event, Annual Scholarship Fair on Saturday December 3rd at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center.
