Good Friday Service, April 3 at Trinity Episcopal Church

Trinity Episcopal Church‘s Good Friday service begins at 12 noon on Friday, April 3 in the Main Sanctuary at 81 Elm Street in Concord. The service observes the events of the Passion. The Passion story is chanted, prayers are read and the cross is venerated. The service ends as the Eucharist reserved from the Maundy Thursday watch is distributed among the faithful.

Following this, Trinity’s music director, Robert Barney presents a half-hour of meditative music on the Huntington organ, featuring works by Bach, Telemann, Bender and others.

The church remains open in the afternoon for silent meditation.
