"Good Grief" Bereavement Group begins March 31 at Trinity Episcopal Church

The Caring Connection at Trinity Episcopal Church offers a 5-week bereavement support group beginning March 31. Sign up by March 20.

Losing a loved one to death is one of the most painful experiences we can have. It helps to share that pain with people who understand what you’re going through. A support group is an effective way to help the bereaved begin to heal because it offers a safe place for people to do the work of mourning.

Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street in Concord, offers a new bereavement support group on Thursday mornings from 10-11:30 am, beginning on Thursday, March 31, 2016. This will be a spiritual environment where individuals can share their feelings and experiences in a caring and confidential setting while receiving information about the grief process. Led by Buck Grace and Anne Lynch, the group will meet for five weekly sessions through April 28. This is a free program. Please register by March 20 so we’ll know how many to plan for.

This will be a “closed” group after the first session; no additional people will be able to join after the March 31 starting date. Participants are expected to make every effort to attend all five sessions.

If interested in joining us, or if you have questions, please contact Anne Lynch at 978-369-3715.
