Shaman, spiritual teacher, and Native wisdom-holder Ohki Siminé Forest shares teachings on the planetary entrance into the Era of Woman which brings the Restitution of the Feminine and the dawn of an unprecedented spiritual revolution. Invoking the medicine of Underworld Jaguar who re-emerges from the times when leaders served the Heart of the Earth and the Feminine within each man and woman, participants are initiated into a profound shift from western patriarchal paradigms into native leadership and the importance of true authority which arises from the People.
Ohki Forest visits the Boston area from May 19 -31, during which she conducts Drum circles, Teaching seminars, Sacred ceremonies and offers private consultations for guidance from Spirit world, discovering your Spirit Animal, Limpia cleansing for healing your Medicine field, and deep Native Healing with feathers, smoke, hot stones and crystals.
A vision-holder of Mohawk descent living in Chiapas, Mexico since 1985, where she collaborates with indigenous Mayas in resistance, Ohki was trained and initiated by Maya, Mongolian and Canadian shamans, and has taught Medicine Wheel and Spiritual Warrior ways for 30 years. She is author of Dreaming the Council Ways: True Native Teachings from the Red Lodge, and a contributor to Original Instructions: Indigenous Teachings for a Sustainable Future. In Chiapas, Mexico, she founded a grassroots social justice organization governed according to ancient Council ways and serving the indigenous Maya in their resistance to extermination which gave rise to the US non-profit organization, Red Wind Councils. Ohki has been a celebrated presenter at the Esalen Institute, Bioneers conferences, Vedanta Centres, churches, colleges, universities, & the Tesuque Indigenous Seed Sovereignty conferences, where her humility, wisdom and profound knowledge of Earth Ways have brought inspiration to thousands.
