Although the forecast predicted rain, the weather held off for the ceremony as students, families, and guests gathered in and around the tent to listen to speeches from Headmaster Dan Scheibe, guest speaker and ESPN columnist Jackie MacMullan, and senior speakers Shae McDonald and Benjamin Gainsboro.Eleven of the graduates of Lawrence Academy's Class of 2016 are residents of Concord and Carlisle: (back row, left to right) Benjamin Andrew Gainsboro, Thomas Phillip Gross, Carter Philip Hussey, Brendan John Seifert, Luke Joseph Maguire Newman, and Nicholas Michael Stone; (front row, left to right) Margaret Clemence Kelly, Emily Marta Duffy Denzer, Paige Godfrey Beede, Katherine Johnson Lotane, and Anna Paley Jewell.
