Nora Moran Named New Manager of Hammond Concord Office

Moran brings over thirty five years of residential brokerage and management experience to her new role

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (May 25, 2016) – Saul Cohen, President and Co-Founder of Hammond Residential Real Estate, recently announced that Nora Moran has been named as the new office manager of Hammond’s Concord office location at 113 Thoreau Street in historic Concord Center.

Moran brings over thirty five years of residential brokerage and management experience gained in and around Concord, Boston, and the surrounding communities to her new role at Hammond.

Speaking on her new position, Moran said, “I am very pleased to join Hammond’s Concord office, where I look forward to coaching and supporting our agents who have entrusted their business careers to the company. After beginning her real estate career in the early eighties, Moran founded the Moran Company REALTORS® in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, which she operated until she merged that firm with Hammond Residential Real Estate in 1997. Since that time, she has been recognized by numerous organizations as well as the residential real estate community for her contributions to the industry.

In 1988, Moran was recognized as “REALTOR® of the Year” by the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and she went on to serve as the President of the Residential Division of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board in 1989, and as President of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB) and its six Divisions in 1990. As GBREB President she represented the real estate industry as a member of “The Vault”, a Committee of Boston business leaders. Moran has also been a director of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR), twice a member of its Executive Committee, and has represented Massachusetts on several Committees at the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Additionally, for several years, Moran served as an instructor in the Graduate REALTORS® Institute of the National Association of REALTORS® teaching condominium brokerage. She has been a frequent speaker on current market conditions and trends in the residential real estate industry, and she has served on the Editorial Board of Banker & Tradesman. Moran is currently a member of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR) and she is an instructor for Hammond’s new agent training program.
