Police Log: Blocked Buses; Larceny Investigation; Hit and Run Accidents

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following incidents were documented in the Concord Police logs.

Blocked Buses
Just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, police received a call from the Concord Carlisle Regional School District Transportation Department, stating construction vehicles were prohibiting school buses from accessing Bartkus Farm Road. Detail officer reported the area was clear and there was no problem with the busses.

Larceny/Fraud Investigation
Shortly after 11 a.m. on Tuesday, an Everett Street resident arrived at the Police Station to report fraudulent use of his credit card.

Hit and Run Accidents
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of an unknown vehicle hitting a car on Commonwealth Avenue, near Debra's Natural Gourmet, causing minor damage. Police located the other party involved. The two vehicle owners exchanged paperwork.

At approximately 3:45 p.m., police received a report of a car struck while parked in the Emerson Hospital D lot. An onlooker advised the reporting party of the car's license plate number, and police were able to locate the other vehicle involved. The driver admitted to hitting the vehicle while exiting the parking lot and agreed to reimburse the owner for damages.

Summons for Vehicle Violation
At approximately 7:20 p.m., police initiated a motor vehicle stop in Monument Square at Main Street, resulting in a summons issued for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
