Police Log: Motor Vehicle Crash; Dog Complaint; OUI Arrest

The following incidents were documented in the logs.
Motor Vehicle Crash
At 8:50 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Rte. 2 westbound at Crosby's Corner. The accident occurred in Lincoln, and Concord Police responded to assist Massachusetts State Police with traffic control. One individual was transported to Emerson Hospital with injuries.
Dog Complaint
At approximately 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, police received a call from a Shore Drive resident stating a dog charged and jumped on her while walking on Shore Drive.
Summons for Vehicle Violations
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Main Street at Belknap Street, resulting in a summons issued for operating a vehicle without a license and an expired inspection sticker.
OUI Arrest
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Concord Police received a call form Acton Police, reporting a hit and run accident on Rte. 11 at Rte. 27. The vehicle involved, a light-colored Mini Cooper with front end damage and one working headlight was seen traveling east on Rte. 2. The vehicle was stopped on Concord Turnpike at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner and field sobriety tests were administered to the driver. Jonathan R. MacGowan, 54, of Acton, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, marked lanes violations and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
