Police Log: Stolen Vehicle; Car Fire; Parking on the Heli-Pad

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following incidents were documented in the Concord Police logs.

Stolen Car
Just before 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, police received a report of a black Suburban stolen while parked on Stow Street near Peter Bulkley Road. The reporting party stated the keys to the vehicle had been left on the tire.

Accident and Car Fire
At approximately 2:45 p.m. on Monday, police received a 911 call from Lowell Road reporting a single vehicle accident. A second 911 call came in reporting the vehicle involved on fire, with the operator out of the vehicle uninjured. A third call was received reporting power out in the are as a result of the vehicle striking a utility pole. A Lowell Road mailbox was also damaged in the accident. Verizon was notified of the damaged pole and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Erratic Operator
At 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, police received a call from a motorist at the West Concord Plaza reporting an erratic operator in a silver Subaru. The reporting party stated the vehicle involved had cut off multiple other cars, and crossed the yellow line on Main Street nearly causing an accident. Police identified the owner of the vehicle involved and eft a message with the car's owner to contact the Concord Police.

Parking on the Heli-Pad
Shortly before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, police received a call from Security reporting a Ford pickup continually parking against policy at the hospital's heli-pad. The reporting party stated the owner of the vehicle had been warned previously not to park there. Police responded and spoke to the vehicle owner. The truck was moved off the heli-pad.
