Police Log: Suspicious Activity; Newspaper Nonsense; Larceny

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following incidents were documented in the Concord Police logs.

Suspicious Activity
At 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, police received a called from a Hawthorn Street resident reporting a female pedestrian staggering on the street, appearing intoxicated. The female was then picked up by a male in a white convertible, which took off at a high rate of speed toward Cambridge Turnpike nearly striking a mailbox. Police could not locate the subjects involved.

Newspaper Nonsense
Just after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a report from a Silver Hill Road resident stating newspapers continue to be delivered to her home despite having cancelled her subscription. The reporting party stated the delivery person often delivers old, and sometimes out of state, newspapers.

Larceny
At approximately 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report from a Musterfield Road resident reporting the past larceny of $99.50 of lighted swag that was on her mailbox.

Summons for Traffic Violations
At approximately 11:15 p.m.; police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Main Street at Concord Turnpike, resulting in a summons issued for unlicensed operation of a vehicle and speeding.
