Police Log: Traffic Complaint; Telephone Scam; Old Christmas Trees Thrown Out
The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following incidents were documented in the logs.
Summons for Vehicle Violations
At approximately 2:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Concord Turnpike at Sudbury Road, resulting in a summons issued for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and a vehicle not meeting the RMV safety standards.
Just before 3:30 p.m. on Friday, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Lowell Road at Bow Street, resulting in a summons issued for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.
Telephone Scam
At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Friday, police received a call from a Laws Brook Road resident stating she received a phone call telling her she owed money on a credit card. Upon calling the number back, the caller was placed on hold. Police found more than 800 other complaints had been made regarding this particular number, which is from Ohio. The reporting party was informed it was a scam, and not to answer any more calls from that number.
Traffic Complaint
Just before 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, police received a call from a motorist on Lowell Road near Hildreth Lane, reporting an erratic driver the reporting party believed to be intoxicated. Carlisle police were notified, and eventually stopped the vehicle involved, placing the driver under arrest for operating under the influence of alcohol. (Since the arrest was made in Carlisle, information on the involved party was not immediately available in the Concord Police log.)
Old Christmas Trees
At 9:50 a.m. on Saturday, police received a call from a Simon Willard Road resident stating he observed a vehicle pull up to a neighbor's house and dump Christmas trees on the neighbor's lawn. Police responded to the area but did not observe any Christmas trees. Residents at the home involved did not observe any suspicious activity.
