Police Log: Unlicensed Driver; Motor Vehicle Crash; Stolen Reindeer

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following incidents were documented in the logs.

Summons for Traffic Violation
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday, police received a call about an erratic driver on Bedford Street, last seen turning onto Main Street. Police located the vehicle and initiated a stop, resulting in a summons issued for operation of a vehicle with a revoked license. 

Motor Vehicle Crash/OUI Charge
Just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24, police responded to the scene of a rollover accident on Cambridge Turnpike. One person involved was transported to Lahey Clinic with injuries. Matthew J. McDonald, 18, of Hudson, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and marked lanes violations.

Stolen Reindeer
At 1 p.m. on Saturday, a Wood Street resident called police to report the theft of a lighted reindeer decoration valued at $150 from his yard.

Suspicious Activity
Just before 8 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 25, police received a report of a prisoner from the North East Correctional Center walking unattended along the inside of the fence along Barretts Mill Road. Police were notified by MCI this is a daily routine in which a prisoner checks the fence every morning.
