Danvers Martin Luther King Jr. Event Returns As In-Person Celebration

The Danvers Human Rights and Inclusion Committee will host the public event on Jan. 16 at Danvers High School.

DANVERS, MA — An annual celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy of equality and inspiration is returning to Danvers High School this year.

The celebration, which was held virtually the past two years because of the COVID-19 health crisis, returns as an in-person gathering on Jan. 16 in the high school atrium.

The event will run from 4 to 6 p.m. and will include musical performances, art and speakers. Light refreshments will be served.

This is the 24th year of the town event that is free and open to the public.
