DanversCARES Announces Above The Influence Contest Winners

Program Designed To Keeps Kids Away From Drugs & Alcohol

Danvers High School students in Denise Hickox's freshmen health class created posters this fall to show a positive influence that helps them refrain from use of alcohol and drugs. Each semester DanversCARES coalition members vote for the top three contestants from their creative depictions of what keeps them drug-free and Above the Influence of alcohol and drugs. The winners for the semester (pictured l-r) are Marc Capobianco, Haris Celikovic, and Olivia Viel, which were selected based on message, creativity and quality of work. The students received FalconsCARE t-shirts and movie gift cards.
