DanversCARES Youth Leaders Spotlight Mental Health Awareness

Holten Richmond Middle School Holds Activities to Raise Awareness of Mental Health

The DanversCARES Youth Leadership Board hosted a Mental Health Awareness Week at Holten-Richmond Middle School during the week of May 14th. The group held a variety of activities to raise awareness for mental health and to reduce stress. The youth leadership board partnered with Aaron's Presents to create candy grams - a positive note with a sweet treat attached for students to buy during their lunch. The $233.00 raised from the week was donated to Children's Friend and Family Services of Justice Resource Institute.
